The work schedule tool built by MKSK Consulting for Oracle Cloud HCM teams has been relaunched as ScheduleX and has taken its place in the MKSK X Cloud Platform.

MKSK developed the tool after its consultants kept meeting the same bottleneck on live implementations. An employer running rotating shift patterns may need hundreds, sometimes thousands, of work schedules created accurately and loaded into Oracle Cloud HCM before staff can be rostered and paid correctly. The seeded spreadsheet approach supports only a limited number of patterns and can struggle at large volumes, and building schedules one at a time through the user interface takes hours that HR and payroll teams do not have. Errors are often found only when they reach a pay run.

ScheduleX reverses that sequence. Teams design schedules in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, every schedule is validated before loading, duplicates are detected and blocked in real time, and the approved patterns are then loaded into Oracle Cloud HCM in bulk. The capability set includes unlimited complex rotations, real-time processing, automated exception management, performance designed for millions of records, secure multi-tenant isolation, role-based access control, GDPR-ready audit logs and analytics reporting. In its SME News Greater London Enterprise Awards 2025 profile, the tool was credited with reducing rota-to-payroll processing by up to 90 percent.

In the X Cloud Platform, ScheduleX sits alongside FormulaX, the first AI Fast Formula generator, created by MKSK to generate, explain and validate Oracle Fast Formulas. Both products were built by MKSK consultants from problems they encountered repeatedly while delivering Oracle Cloud HCM programmes.

Mohammed Khan, Director, Oracle Division at MKSK Consulting, said: "A work schedule looks like a small configuration task until a payroll deadline is sitting behind hundreds of rotating patterns. We built this tool because we kept living that problem. As ScheduleX it now has the name and the platform focus it had already earned in practice. Design it, validate it, load it, and get on with the work that actually transforms HR."

MKSK Consulting is an Oxford-headquartered consultancy that works only on Oracle Cloud HCM, with certified consultants who have supported 200,000 employees across complex implementations. At the SME News Greater London Enterprise Awards 2025, MKSK won Best Use of AI in Enterprise HR Transformation 2025 and the Innovation Award in Payroll Automation and Transformation 2025, and it reports a 90 percent efficiency improvement for clients and a 100 percent client satisfaction rate.

ScheduleX is available now from MKSK Consulting. Oracle Cloud HCM organisations and delivery partners can book a demonstration at mksk.co.uk, contact the team at [email protected], and find the product at schedulexcloud.com.
